eduardo paolozzi

The best sculpture so far that I have seen is the giant robot thing. It is freaking amazing and I want to go see it. I love how everything he creates is GIANT. I mean GIANT!!!! He is awesome, I never had even heard of him until I was browsing through google for random sculptors. He is amazing. I can not even begin to explain how awesome he is. I really love the giant head that is all broken up, but yet put back together.

Cesar Baldeccini

Cesar Baldeccini is a very interesting sculptor.  The bottom picture looks like a person or ghost just melting. It kinda reminds me of like Ghostbusters, with the slimer thing, or the giant marshmallow man. The Giant Thumb has to be one of my favorite pieces by him. It is just so ridiculous and random, and I love it. The top picture I dont really understand, I dont know what it is but it looked pretty damn cool.

Antony Gormley

I really love this piece Building VI outside the Musee des Beaux-Arts in Montreal, Canada. Gormley really seems to bring this figure to life by celebrating his own form. I am happy to introduce Antony because his  work really illustrates an artist putting himself into his sculpture.

Ben Sanchez

Ben Sanchez is a tattoo artist that used to work for Spit Shade with Jay O'leary. Now he works at Sideshow on Emerald. The bottom picture is of my boyfriend's chest piece that took over 40 hours and still has more work to do on it. The reason I am writing about Ben is because I love his art work and how bright of colors he uses. I love it.

Art 108

I actually really enjoyed this class even though I had trouble in the beginning. But this class has helped me break out of my shell of just drawing to actually exploring the different types of sculpture art. I am glad i took this class. I still think I am going to stick to drawing.

Brian Froud

As everyone knows, I love fairies, love them and Brian Froud is my absolute favorite fairy artist. I love the colors and the way he draws them, I will soon have a sleeve of fairies tattooed on my arm and I am going to use his art work. I own 3 of his books and plan on getting the rest of them. I love this man.

Matt Barney

Matt Barney is awesome. The second picture reminds me of Mr. Tumnus from The Chronicles of Narnia, except he is not as cute as Mr. Tumnus. The bottom picture is just odd. ODD. What the hell is that? It looks like a mix of a chicken and vampire type thing...I don't get it. The first picture is really cool actually, it looks like a were-cheetah or something. He is great.
