Frank Gehry

Wow, Frank Gehry. Where to start... Amazing. His lines, his creativity. I wonder what his thought process is to come up with such awesome ideas. I think that you wanted us to know about him because he is pretty abstract and a lot of his buildings look like our folded up paper we were sketching.
Frank Gehry. The way he designs his buildings is out of this world, i would never think to design a building like any of the ones he has done.  They look like something out of a movie or sci-fi novel.

Some people are saying that the buildings are a waste and have no reason to be built. I think that they are beautiful and art is art, even if it does not have any use...it is still pretty to look at and to admire. I love the fact that the buildings are in random places and don't fit in to the surrounding areas. It makes that area of the city a lot more interesting. This man has won so many awards and people still don't like his work, but I love it.

So this is my first blog ever...

Ok, so here goes... My name is Britney Willetts. I have lived in Boise since I was two years old. I have 7 half siblings, one of which was born on my birthday. I am 21 years old..so I am a little old for a freshman. I am a little shy..which is weird because I used to not be shy at all, but thanks to my theater teacher in highschool, my self confidence is almost ruined. I want to be an art teacher, so i really have to get over this shyness thing. I have been drawing since I was about 3 years old which was when my former church put one of my drawings in the church bulletin. It was a little birdie. Ummm...I am a vegetarian, have been for about 6 or 7 months..PETA tricked me. I am a little weird once you get to know me..but thats part of my charm ;). I am an aspiring pin up model. I love they way they dress and look and think its absolutely beautiful in every way. I have 3 tattoos and 10 piercings. I live with my mom and little brother (the one with the same birthday as me). I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I am really looking forward to this class because this type of art is way out of my comfort zone and I would love to be able to do it.
